Enduring Classical art espouses profound sincerity, nobility of intent, and an unrelenting search for the dignified and the beautiful.
Praxis is that quest, a realistic pursuit of the essential truths in life, reflecting on the means and the end of action, and the validity of both.
It is the tension present when conceptual idealism meets the truth of observed naturalism.
The Classical Realist artist must look carefully and deeply to discover the vital spirit, the force of life.
Praxis is discovery, in love with life, desiring nothing more than to enhance the vital spirit, and “turn the brightness outward”.
