Informal Valuation Services pertain to the theoretical aspects of property value: how preference, willingness to pay, subjective or arbitrary assessment, market analysis and retail support impact on value considerations for personal property. These services are provided outside of appraisal practice.
Appraisals are the empirical part of valuation services. Based on direct observation of market activity appraisers will communicate analysis, opinions and conclusions to the intended users of their valuation services, in a manner that is meaningful and not misleading.
What is a USPAP certified Appraisal and why is it necessary?
Appraisers who prepare reports that subscribe to USPAP (the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) protect the public trust through ethical and competent determinations of value.
Mr. Roy, owner of Under the Moon, has received USPAP accreditation current to 2015. Valuation services are available but, regrettably, no appraisal assignments are being accepted at this time.

To make further enquiries about items offered for sale on this site, please free to contact the gallery at (905) 929-0029 or by email at utm170@hotmail.com. We will answer within a day. Additional images, and condition reports are available upon request. Items can be held at the gallery for one week to allow for inspection.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars and are not subject to negotiation. Once an understanding is reached with our clients regarding a purchase, we will provide a detailed invoice, suggest methods of payment, and discuss delivery options if necessary.
We guarantee the authenticity and condition of all items offered for sale. If an error is made and an item is proven not to be as described, the purchase price will be refunded as long as the item is returned in the same condition as which it was sold. This guarantee, however, does not extend to subsequent resales.
Under the Moon safeguards all information relating to our client records, and will not disclose any particulars to third parties. Distance clients, conducting business over the internet, are protected by Ontario provincial consumer protection legislation.
Selling to Under the Moon
Under the Moon is always interested to purchase items that are similar to those shown in our inventory. We will purchase single items, or small estates. Consignments are accepted at the discretion of the owner. Purchases are made by appointment only.
